Cinnamon, with Griffin Talley and Pandonia

Only a few good men answered my casting call of a few weeks ago.  The casting call is off -- I'm gonna resurrect some characters, and be more proactive as to who I want to paint pictures of.

Griffin Talley answered my message.  Also, he likes pandas.  I think we can accomodate that. ^^

The original version of this picture was simply the top part of the picture -- Cinnamon about to sit on Griffin's face.  I simply wanted a nice, facesitting picture, because I have none.  All of a sudden, I decided to include Pandonia, Griffin's wife, at the bottom, feating on griffin meat.

I debated for a while, whether to have Pandonia, or Cinnamon, on top.  I figured that, although Pandonia is a rather progressive wife, she would still try to keep her man's meat to herself as much as possible. ^^

Pandonia's pose is a little awkward, although not physically impossible. ><  I tried to take away attention from it, by having her squeeze on Griffin's nuts.  Hopefully, you noticed that. ^^

The original size of the sketch proved to be rather unmanageable for my little Pentium II. ><  So unfortunately, I had to take a few shortcuts, and use a few different techniques.  Either way, it has never been as obvious as it was this time, that my hardware is holding my art back rather severely.

Also, I think I'm going to stay away from pandas, for a while.  Black and white are difficult to color. ><  In the end, I had to blur the yellow parts of the picture, to match the black/white parts.  Again, blame it on the hardware, but what can I do.

Other than that, I'm almost pleased as to how this one turned out.  Maybe if I had chosen to work with a smaller version, I would've been able to color it better.  Oh, well...
