All the fun we had last year

Well, first of all, Happy New Year! ^^  My first post of the year, it'll be followed by art that has already been posted on my FA page.

Anyway.

This picture was originally drawn in a couple of hours, right around Christmas eve, 2007. It was posted on CubCentral, and on FA.

The face was a DISASTER. >>;  It has been redone, for more cute and less suck.

The body, however... I look at the art I was producing around that era, and this was WAAAY ahead of what I was doing, back then. oO  I'm still surprised the body turned out with juuust the right levels of cute, cuddly, and RAEPABILITY anatomical non-suckiness.  This is easily one of my best pictures, and certainly one of my very favorite pictures of Princess. *^^*

As for how old is Princess, in this picture?  Figure 3, maybe 4.  Princess looks a bit younger than his typical five-year-old self.  Close enough, I suppose.

As for the title, it was inspired by my favorite Christmas song.  This past year, it was particularly poignant, though.
